Strategic Planner- Senior Capstone Project
Nuclear power is a very complex topic that many people have a strong opinion on.
Our team was tasked with creating a marketing plan to help the public rethink nuclear as a clean alternative source of energy.
Our approach was to target large corporations which hold massive sway over public opinion who. We decided on Disney, Ford, Amazon, Lego, and Go Pro. We chose these brands because they each hold significant influence over unique and different demographics across the nation.
To raise awareness we focused on attending events that our chosen brands would attend. At these events we wished to shine a postive light on nuclear energy. We acmplished this goal by creating videos, out-of-home advertising, and a stellar both expeince that involed a VW Micro-Bus that was powered by a gen 4 nuclear reactor.
Our pitch was a success, and our team won the client.
ATOMIC FLOWER POWER
To drive the point that nuclear energy is a clean energy source, we decided to go with a look reminiscent of the hippie movement of the 1960s. We knew we had to create a utopian vision for the future of nuclear to combat its apocalyptic past.
